Sheep Incognito Blog

Off We Goooo! The sheep have finally found a voice - a smorgasblog of mutton so-to-speak. So come along for a rather bumpy, slightly whacky and always (well, hopefully) entertaining ride through the realm of sheep. Of course, blogs are the new cafe-connections of the net - drop me a line, share your thoughts, or just be a silent observer. Don't spill the coffee on the sheep though, they shrink ...

It Happened!

Posted by Conni Togel in WIPstudiosheeppresidentpollingpoliticspoliticalobamalivinglifehappyhappinesscommentarychangecampaignbipartisanart2008 election

Our nation finally managed to break away from pre-set notions of who gets to be president and who gets to represent the people in our country in the Whitehouse - and we all got to watch history happen...Quite exciting, really, and touching and inspiring, all at once. Too bad my sheep don't care too much about watching TV, or I would have plopped them on the couch with me to watch the events happen - they would have been thrilled to see all that happen.

The best part of the election was seeing the crowds and faces last night, as they were listening to Obama's acceptance speech - it's been a loooong time since I've seen that many people so excited and ready to get going. Very nice image indeed - especially after the past eight years of depressing, scary and bitter moments.

So from the sheep: GO OBAAAAAMAAAAH!

And to celebrate that historic occasion, I finally got to spend some time in the studio again - not sure where the sheep were going with this one, but they seem to finally have figured something out: only if both sides agree on a direction will there be any green grass to be eaten.

Oh, yeah - it's a Baaaapartisan thang....

Of course, being the creatures they are, sheep like cool places to hang out in - these particular flockies would love to be struttin' their stuff  on someone's wall (preferably of course with a view of the corn bucket nearby, or, if not, at least with a view of something that smells like corn (perhaps a smallish smackerel of corn syrup would do the trick - don't let them get too near to it, it messes with their mind).

So here are the particulars of "BaaaPartisan" -

Size: 16" x 20"
Media: Oil over acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas
Title: BaaaPartisan
Cost of ownership: ask me

drop me a line if you think you can handle having them hang out with you...they are quite friendly, really.
