Of course people often see the obvious – sheep have wool, and wool is for knitting; ergo, a sheep must be knitting, preferably himself. After about twenty dozen requests for a painting of a sheep knitting himself (of which there are probably a gazillion out there in the art world already), I decided to give in to popular demand, in my own way. The sheep was rather surprised itself.
