Away in a Manger PRINT

Christmas has always been a time of the year I look forward to – not only because of goodies to eat, but also because of the never ending sounds of Christmas music, and most important of all, the real reason for the season.
Away in a Manger was one of the few songs I could remember the words to as a child. This is mainly due to the fact that I learned all the traditional German Christmas songs instead – no such thing as Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer there. I started wondering what would the sheep have done on that starry night in Bethlehem? Joyride, of course – screaming all the way! Which happens to also explain WHY there was no crib for a bed.
