Some of my patrons might remember the time before the Sheep Incognito series. This painting with the koi used to be named Into the Light, and was hidden away in storage for two years. It shows an underwater meeting place for one of the sheep – something like submerged speed dating, though a lot more effective.
Sheep and koi are living happily ever after (Sheep in the meadow, koi in the pond – long distance relationships really do have something going for them). Occasionally, I want to rework some older pieces because my methods and skill levels have changed. And besides, I’m a woman. My head is round so my mind can change directions.
