The Great Pretender

The Great Pretender was the first in the King Sheep series and explains a lot about why the sheep has to have a crown and cloak sometimes. It’s not always about power but more about pretending to be the one calling the shots. This was painted after the 2004 election when there was quite a ruckus about the results and how they came about. Only the sheep and his court know how exactly he came to be the one in the robe. At least it’s been an interesting time out in the meadow.
