...is what my kitchen sink looks like right about now.

This afternoon I spent a bit picking over a fleece of one of the sheep-gals (Philly) and just pulled the first bit out of the water after the second rinse. 

How a sheep that just stands around outside doing nothing but staring and munching can get this dirty is a mystery - but after the wash, the wool definitely looks better and will be ready for carding and spinning hopefully by tomorrow (I LOVE having a gas fireplace and a ceiling fan in the same room here - it speeds drying times up considerably).
