It's a beautiful morning here - the sheep are just as lazy as I am this morning, just loafing around in their favorite spot (which, incindently is right in front of the web cam - they just love attention...) And, because I am just as lazy, I'm sitting here blogging, when in fact I should be in the studio painting. But it's rather cold today, and cold feet do not creativity inspire. In the meantime, just have a look at where I work - yes, it's a bit of mayhem, but as they say: "People that keep their stuff in order are just to lazy to hunt for what they need". On the easel you can see one of my current works - it's rather smallish, but that will allow me to eventually get it finished. Yes, it's a sheep. Of course. Well, since you asked, here is a closer pic of it in progress: Just the rough areas sketched in, so I'll know where I'm heading with it - at this point it's just more of an idea sketch than a painting. Maybe this afternoon will bring a few minutes of connected time to work on it some more, adding more color, lights, and some sort of background. The title won't be revealed until it's done though - then again, you might be able to figure it out yourself with an educated guess.... So, I'm off to get kids from early school dismissal (they do this on purpose to parents, don't they?).
